Christmas in Action

Christmas in Action (CIA) is a 501c(3) charity that helps the local community by fixing-up the homes of those who cannot help themselves. These people are widows, the elderly, low-income, and disabled people in our neighborhood.

Last year we helped five families, and many Fall Creekers took part in this great day. (We were even featured in the video on CIA's web site!)
This year (May 21, 2011) CIA wants to help sixteen families, so we need all of you to chip in! These families are located in Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, and Indianapolis--they are your neighbors and they need your help. Please help as best you can by volunteering or pledging your support.

Local Church Conference

Parents, if your children are exposed to the world wide web (via computer, cell phone, gaming system, or any other means) you need this class!

You will learn how to:

* Control the use of computers, cell phones, and game systems

* Monitor Internet usage
* Stop cyber bullying

Keynote Speaker

Jonathan Wilson is an Information Security Professional from Indianapolis, IN. He is the Information Security Officer for Indiana's fastest growing health plan and oversees the security of a large and diverse network of computer systems.

Jonathan servers as a Subject Matter Expert for the Information Systems and Control Association (ISACA), the internationally recognized standards entity for Information Technology Auditing and Security. Jonathan serves as ISACA's Network Security Topic Leader; facilitating international discussions related to industry-wide best practices for network security.

Jonathan holds numerous professional credentials/certifications related to the auditing and securing of computer systems. He has received the following training and or certifications:

Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) 
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) 
COMP TIA Security Plus Certification (Sec+) 
Certified Cell Phone Forensics Technician (PCTF) 
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) 
Certified Government Audit Professional (CGAP) 

Current professional projects for Jonathan include development of web application security standards and testing protocols, development of computer viruses for testing purposes and working with independent developers to provide parental controls for the nation's largest provider of online movie content.  

Above all else, Jonathan is a parent deeply committed to providing other parents with the training and resources necessary to take control of the technology in their homes and provide their children with a safe environment for the use of technology.
